At this time, it is unclear whether President Trump has made any formal request for a pause in the federal election trial. The trial is currently in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and requests of this nature are traditionally handled by that court. The Ninth Circuit has yet to comment on any such requests related to President Trump’s challenge of an immunity ruling.
